Chaplain Dwight C. Jennings

Chaplain Dwight C. Jennings is the Chaplain Director for the Church of the Nazarene.

He graduated from Southern Nazarene University (1971), Nazarene Theological Seminary (1976), and has done graduate work at Kansas University and Boston University.

Prior to assuming this position in August of 2000, Chaplain Jennings pastored the Haverhill, Massachusetts Church of the Nazarene on the New England District, taught church history and theology at Eastern Nazarene College, and served 20 years in the United States Army as a chaplain. His army assignments took him to Fort Hood, TX, Fort Monmouth, NJ, Fort Leavenworth, KS, Germany, Korea, and the Pentagon.


Rev. Windy Lovett

Rev. Windy Lovett is the Senior Program Assistant for Chaplaincy Services.

Windy is responsible for the programming and networking aspects of Chaplaincy Services, and is also involved with ministry to our chaplains through retreats, conferences, and day-to-day office communications.

She holds a BA in Sociology, with an emphasis in Social Work, from Point Loma Nazarene University (1980), a Secondary Teaching Credential in Social Sciences from Sacramento State University (1991), a Masters in Counseling from Point Loma (1994), and a Masters of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary (2004).  Windy also has Certificates in Youth Ministries and Pupil Personnel Services from Point Loma, and a Certificate in Chaplaincy Ministries from Nazarene Theological Seminary.


Ms. Nita Hayes

Ms. Nita Hayes is the Office Assistant for Chaplaincy Services.

She attended Kansas City College & Bible School and Mid-America Nazarene College, now Mid-America Nazarene University, and graduated with an Education degree in 1981.

Nita has worked at Nazarene Headquarters for nineteen years--ten years in Chaplaincy Services.
