"CHAPLAINS AND CHANGED LIVES"
A popular feature is "Chaplains and Changed Lives." Written by chaplains in the field, this feature tells true-life stories of God's transforming power to change lives. In each case, God used a chaplain in a mighty way.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR CHAPLAINS
Some of you may want to support in a financial way the work of chaplains. Two funds exist that provide important financial resources. The Spencer/Lee Scholarship Fund provides valuable scholarship assistance for Nazarene Theological Seminary students preparing for ministry as a chaplain. With educational debt often exceeding $25,000 at the end of college and seminary, this fund helps seminary students fulfill God’s call on their life to serve as chaplains. Second, the Overseas Service Members Fund supports the ministry of chaplains serving overseas. For the most part, giving to this fund helps defray the cost of the European Service Member’s Retreat. This retreat and other chaplain programs helps young service personnel stay connected to the Church of the Nazarene.
RESOURCES
This web site lists many resources for both chaplains and laypersons that wish information about chaplains. Some are free and others can be purchased for a nominal fee.
EVENTS
Upcoming Nazarene chaplain events are posted on this web site. Should one of your events warrant denomination-wide exposure, please let Chaplaincy Services know about it. It may need to be posted on this web site.
